Requests for information under Act. No. 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information

A request for information under Act. No. 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information, as amended, can be submitted to the Transport Infrastructure Access Authority (hereinafter referred to as the „TIAA“) as follows:

  • orally – (i.e. by phone) – line number is on the home page.
  • in writing – via the post service, data box or personally in the office at the addresses listed here.

Requisites of request for information

The request shall be in the Czech and/or Slovak language. For further information read the section Language of proceedings. It must be clear from the written request that it is addressed to the TIAA and that the applicant seeks to obtain information under Act No. 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information.

If the request does not contain the above mentioned details and the delivery address, it is not a request within the meaning of Act No. 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information.

The request made electronically shall be submitted via the above mention address. If an electronic request is not fulfilled in this way, it is not a request within the meaning of Act No. 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information. Natural person in the request shall state the name, surname, date of birth, place of residence or, if he is not a permanent resident, his domicile and delivery address, if different from address of the place of residence or domicile.

Legal person shall state the name, identification number, the registered address and the delivery address, if it is different from address of registered. Delivery address means also an electronic address.

Tariff of Fees for providing information

Pursuant to Act No. 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information, as amended, and Government Regulation No. 173/2006 Coll., on the Principles for determining the fees and licensing fees for providing information under the Act on Free Access to Information, are set this amounts of fees for the provision of information:

1. Costs of making copies

  • one-sided black and white copy (printout) of A4 size document: 2 CZK
  • double-sided black and white copy (printout) of A4 size document: 4 CZK
  • one-sided black and white copy (printout) of A3 size document: 4 CZK
  • double -sided black and white copy (printout) of A3 size document: 8 CZK
  • one-sided color copy (printout) of A4 size document: 30 CZK
  • one-sided color copy (printout) of A3 size document: 60 CZK

2. Costs of measures of technical data carriers:

  • CD: 20 CZK
  • DVD: 40 CZK

3. Costs of sending information to the applicant

  • the costs of the used or required postal service is paid in the amount of the actual costs

4. Costs of extraordinary large search of information

  • if providing of information is associated with extraordinary large search of information, every 1 hour of extraordinary large search costs 200 CZK

5. Exemption from reimbursement of costs

  • if providing of information is connected to search for information generally less than 1 hour, the fees of the costs under point 4 is not required

  • if the total cost of providing information after applying an exemption to one applicant on the basis of one application does not exceed CZK 100, the information is provided free of charge; however, if similar information is requested by the same applicant repeatedly, fees will be required even if the cost of providing the information does not exceed 100 CZK.
